Τουλάχιστον επτά άνθρωποι σκοτώθηκαν σήμερα από την έκρηξη που σημειώθηκε στο κέντρο της Καμπούλ, ανέφερε η ιταλική μη κυβερνητική οργάνωση Emergency, η οποία διευθύνει ένα νοσοκομείο στην αφγανική πρωτεύουσα.
Είκοσι άνθρωποι νοσηλεύονται σε αυτό το νοσοκομείο, μετά την έκρηξη που σημειώθηκε σε ξενοδοχείο, στη γειτονική συνοικία Σαχρ ε Νάου, πρόσθεσε η ΜΚΟ.

It is now confirmed that the explosion occurred at a Chinese restaurant.

«Σύμφωνα με προκαταρκτικές αναφορές, πολλοί άνθρωποι σκοτώθηκαν και τραυματίστηκαν», δήλωσε στο Reuters ο εκπρόσωπος του Υπουργείου Εσωτερικών, Αμπντούλ Ματίν Κανί, προσθέτοντας ότι λεπτομέρειες θα δοθούν αργότερα στη δημοσιότητα.
Η συνοικία Σαχρ ε Ναου φιλοξενεί αλλοδαπούς και θεωρείται μία από τις πιο ασφαλείς περιοχές στην αφγανική πρωτεύουσα.

Sources told on Monday (Jan 19) that a powerful explosion occurred at the “Chinese Restaurant” in the Shahr-e-Naw area of Kabul.
